1993 With one Wire EDM, one manual sinker EDM one mill, one grinder, a CMM and a 2,000 sq. ft. unit, the dream of a company large enough to excel at sophisticated runs yet small enough to give exceptional personalized service was established at 4530 Rhodes Drive, Windsor, Ontario
First years of operation focused on serving stamping, mold, welding and fixture industries.
1995 Penetration into US market accounted for relocation to a 10,000sq. ft. facility located at 2105 Blackacre Dr, Windsor, ON which included the acquisition of Technicut's first CNC Machining Center and CNC Sinker EDMs
1998 Technicut ventured into the machining of mold inserts for the plastics cutlery industry, with the concentrated effort made to diversify into new industrial markets
1999 Expanded into Polyurethane Industry
2000 Received ISO 9001:2000 Certification
2000 Acquisition of 6020 Surface Integrity Wire EDM
Technicut's specialization in Reverse Engineering and Replacement Tooling filled an existing and increasing need for Replacement Die Sections in Michigan based Tool & Die companies
2001 Secured new customers in the High Tech Technologies and Packaging Industry
2001 Acquisition of additional high speed machining centers
2002 Expanded into the Rubber Extrusion Industry
2003 Expanded into the Oil & Gas industry
2004 Facility expansion with 6,000 sq. ft. addition, increasing total space to 15,500 sq. ft.
Equipment upgrade to include the addition of 2 Johnsford CNC machines
2005 News of Technicut's expansion published by Plastics in Canada Magazine Oct/Nov issue
2006 Acquired CNC Mori Seiki Lathe
2006 Formed Health & Safety Committee and joined a Safety Group Program
2007 Acquisition of two additional CNC lathes
2008 Acquisition of 3 additional Lathes and Zeiss Contura CMM
